A Dutch Lustre pottery Crane standing on a White enamelled foliage base. Very little is known regarding the production of this lustre ware within its native Holland. In the last Ten years Jema Ware has grown into a solid and reliable collectors market, with the majority of collectors based within the United Kingdom and Australia. This lustre Crane is finished in pastel shades of Pink, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Item carries the impressed Jema Holland stamp with the number 170A. It is with regret that this factory ceased trading through bankruptcy in 1984.
