Welcome cat teapots have been around for decades and this is one of the sweetest. Almost all are made in China and this is no exception. Made of white porcelain decorated with abstract salmon red chrysanthemums interspersed with gilt checks. His tail points upwards on his back to create the handle. Both front paws are clutching a BIG deep red and pale salmon Koi carp. The mouth of the carp is the spout. The cat has blue eyes and is licking his mouth!
