A very thick pink pressed glass diamond and fan pattern glass insert biscuit barrel that fits inside a white metal twisted wire white metal trellis. The pink or melon coloured glass has a 22 petal flower on its base and the rim has a 4 bar file and semi prunt border on the rim. The centre of the trellis has alternating rosebud with leaves or 2 leaves.On the base ring there are 3 small ball feet. The white metal handle fits on the trellis on either side, and has a continous molded centre band of tiny rosebuds. The undeside is patterned to aid grip. The white metal (possibly chrome) lid is perfectly smooth and has an upright open ornate handle.
