This is a classic Geoffrey Baxter design for Whitefriars that first appeared in 1967. This particular vase is in Kingfisher blue and the vase appears much greener in the picture than it actually is, due to the lighting conditions.
The height of the vase is approximately 28.7cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 8cm, although the rim is not exactly circular.
The vase is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. There is a small circular artefact about 2-3mm in diameter, just adjacent to the mould line in the base. It appears opaque and is slightly rough to the touch. I think it is a piece of frit in the glass with an associated burst bubble. There are two other similar looking tiny opacities in the vase, which are smooth and are due to frit.
Condition: Excellent
Dimensions: The height of the vase is approximately 28.7cm with a diameter at the rim of about 8cm.
