Whitefriars Streaky Green Knobbly Vase No. 9612 with Sticker |

This is a good example of a classic design by Whitefriars.
The flint glass has enclosed streaks of green. The vase tapers inwards from the base to the rim and has a random knobbled effect. The base has a central polished out pontil.
In addition, this piece bears the original Whitefriars paper label.
This vase has the pattern number 9612 and can be found on page 32 of the 1969 Whitefriars catalogue.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are a few enclosed bubbles. These are manufacturing artefacts.
