Whitefriars Willow Oval Encased Vase No. 9651 |

This is an excellent example of a classic 1960s design by Geoffrey Baxter for Whitefriars.
The vase is oval in section and tapers slightly towards the rim. The willow coloured glass is encased in a thick layer of flint glass. The base has a central polished out pontil.
This vase can be found on page 19 of the 1969 Whitefriars catalogue and has the pattern number 9651.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there may be a few surface scratches, the largest of which is 0.5cm in length.
Condition: Very Good
Dimensions: The vase has a height of approximately 24.7cm.
