A playful opalescent peach tint "Ocean" vase on a flared base. The bucket shape body is relief moulded with fish swimming amongst weeds, and applied with three dimensional sea horse handles, the base is embellished with sea grasses. Circa 1930s, this example unmarked but definitely by Barolac (Josef Inwald, Czechoslovakia) for the English importer, John Jenkins & Sons. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch.
