DECO CUT GLASS DECANTER, GILT & BLACK ENAMEL DECORATION, MEYERS NEFFE WINTERBERG |

A stylish deco decanter, with a disk form stopper over a tapered facet neck on a lightly swollen ten fact upper section and triple ring lower section. The upper section is hand decorated on alternating facets with abstract palm leaf, fruit and leaf designs in black and gold, the lower section with leaf shapes; the stopper is embellished with gilt bands. Circa 1920s-30s, probably Meyers Neffe, the base with acid etched "Produkte de Tcheco-Slovaquie" mark for the export market. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch.
