This is an unusual and striking piece of Maltese art glass.
The vase is cylindrical in form and comprises of three layers: an inner flint layer streaked with red and orange, a central layer containing flecks of gold and an outer flint glass layer, which is thickened at the base. This is polished flat and signed with the word ‘MDINA’ and the code ‘RG103’.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
Condition: Excellent
Dimensions: It has a height of approximately 19.6cm and a diameter at the rim of about 8.4cm.
