An unusual and attractive use of tiles in a tray. The brass handled and footed mahogany frame features two Art Nouveau green and blue Pilkington floral tiles and matching surround. Circa 1905, manufacturer identified through a second identical tray and tiles awaiting restoration, design register number 440224 for 1904 with Capital P's in opposing corners, blue surround tiles also similarly marked but without registration number. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to nearest quarter inch.

Dimensions: width 28.5cm/11.25in, depth 48.5cm/19.25in, height 4.5cm/2in.
