Attractive walnut Tunbridge ware tea caddy
A beautiful little Victorian walnut Tunbride ward tea caddy in excellent condition, the geometric tunbridgeware in evony and satinwood adornes the front and top of this pretty little box. The lid lifts to reveal a lidded compartment area which is divided into 2 sections, this is where tea would have originally been stored. Provided with a fully working lock and key this is a wonderful item from the days when tea was so expensive that it warranted housing it in such an intricate item.
