PIT described as the greatet of all party games by its manufacturers JOHN WADDINGTON. "Pit" is Pure, Harmless, Exciting, Unadultererated Fun. Learned in two minutes. This is the BULL & BEAR edition, an improvement on the version without this added element. The game is based on the exciting scenes of the American Corn Exchange, usually styled the "Wheat Pit" From the moment the bell strikes all players must begin to trade. No waiting for turn. Get at it immediately. Players all call at onsce. Such are the manners of the Wheat Pit. The more rapidly the trading proceeds, in fact, the greater the babel, the more laughter and the more ludicrous the excitment. More than one version of the game is explained. A great family and friends game.
