A large hand painted Burgess & Leigh Dragon Handled jug, in the scarcer two tone blended Colour way. The jug has the printed Bee Hive stamp on the base, with decorator’s monogram and numbers 5317. This popular example, is but one from the large range of bird, sport and reptile Art Deco novelty jugs produced by Burgess & Leigh.
