An Art Deco hand enameled sandwich set by Kensington Potteries of Stafford. Made between 1921 and 1939 this delightful set of 6 octagonal side plates each measuring 6 1/4" square are hand enameled with cheerful red and yellow single petal dahlias with brown leaves and 3 brown short stripes. The sandwich server is 13 1/2" max. in length by 6 1/2" wide, is also enameled with orange and yellow Dahlias with brown leaves and lines, and the ends, which are rounded are relief molded and highlighted with orange scrolls and stripes. All are finished with an orange perimeter stripe. A very elegant and cheerful set.
Condition: Very Good
