A very rare & highly decorative gold & enamel watch with an enamelled dial depicting two cherubs. The solid gold case is excellent with no dents, the front, rear & rear inner covers all close firmly & evenly. The gold mark on the inside of the rear cover is indistinct but is most likely to be 18 carat on a watch of this quality. The rear cover has the letters I E in blue & black enamel. The glass is slightly domed & is in excellent condition. The dark blue enamelled picture dial is very high quality, it is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The inner case is marked HORLOGERIE DE GENEVE. CYLINDRE DIX RUBIS. The cylinder movement is running well & keeping good time. The hands are pin-set, to move the hands, push in the pin on the edge at XI & turn the crown.
