A men's 9 carat gold wristwatch by Longines. The case has a smooth finish with no engravings, there are some minor pinhead sized dings on the rear but these cannot be seen when the watch is being worn. The rear cover is snap-on & closes tightly & evenly, it has the Birmingham hallmark for 1945, it is also marked A.L.D. MADE IN ENGLAND. (A L Dennison was the case maker for many imported watches) The dial is excellent, it is marked LONGINES above the seconds dial. It is also marked with the retailers name A & J SMITH ABERDEEN. The movement is marked LONGINES. SWISS MADE. 15 JEWELS. 7135266. It is running well & keeping good time.
