A 1920s pilot's style Longines men's wristwatch. The silver case has a smooth finish with no engravings, it has hinged strap lugs, hinged rear & rear inner covers & a snap on front cover. The inside of the case is marked with the London silver import hallmark for 1929 & the casemakers mark AB (the casemakers for longines). The enamelled dial is excellent, it is marked LONGINES & has a centre seconds hand, there are military style luminous paint dots beside the numerals, although these are no longer luminous after over 80 years. The movement is marked LONGINES. SWISS MADE. 15 JEWELS. 13,33. It is running well & keeping good useable time for a wristwatch of this age, to within 4 minutes per day.
