A fine tin commemorating the 1st Christmas Broadcast 1932 by His Majesty King George the Fifth to the British Empire . A highly impressed Tin with panels depicting The King sitting at his desk with a microphone surrounded by a laurel wreath. Two globes with the motto " His Majestys Christmas Broadcast to the People of the British Empire ". Lions on a Unionjack Flag background and Britannia with two warships. All are in embossed Panels and the box is Silver in colour. On the lid are there Majestys King George and Queen Mary. It has an air tight fitting lid maybe for use with cigarettes. The bottom has green baize which has been applied at a later time.
