Victorian Gilt Open Arm Chair
A stunning French Gilt open arm chair dating to 19th Century, this fabulous and comfortable armchair stands on turned and fluted legs with lobed decoration to their tops. The overstuff seat of bowfront outline continues the egg and dart detailing around the periphery of the seat. The open arms each with accanthus leaf detailing top and bottom have padded arm rests. The deep padded back is held within the gilt relief boarders flanked by draping bellflowers and stunning foliate ribboned pattern to the back rail.
In a beautiful deep green thick cord material this chair is in lovely original condition and simply oozes quality.
