THE HASTINGS & ST LEONARDS NEW ALBUM is an folded album of vistas of Hastings & St Leonards, at a time when there was no motor traffic, only horse and steam power. Fascinating glimpses with beach and street scenes, public buildings, steam and sail ships. They are not photographs as we know it but more likely superior steel engravings. They are in remarkably good condition with only one print having a slight crease. In order to create the pull-out they are literally joined with overlap in two places. 20 scenes. Manufactured in Germany, mounted between red linen boards embossed. Further details can be provided.
