A superb small JA&S Art Nouveau butterfly in perfect condition with no damage or wear to the enamel circa 1910. The enamelling is exquisite in an iridescent silver and pale lilac, complimented by the deeper shaded body in the centre. There is a lovely depth to the wings with textured veins beneath the beautiful enamelling. A rare little butterfly in excellent antique condition with no wear to the enamel and stong fitting clasp. Measuring: 1 1/4 x 3/4 ins (33 x 20 mm). Stamped with JA&S. Model no. 1086 and STERLING SILVER.
