A beautiful floral and leaves design gold necklace encrusted with genuine rubies and seed pearls circa 1930s-50s. The necklace is made up of articulated sections adjoining the chain, with a large central floral section and droplet. Constructed in solid gold, the lilac pink rubies are encased in gold and set throughout. Alternating with the rubies is an abundance of seed pearls set into the leaves. The chain section is made of high quality gold links in a series of connected bars with a very supple feel, fastening with a hook and barrel clasp. A fine and impressive necklace, with all stones intact in very good condition. Central section 2 1/4 Wide x 1 1/2" Long. (56 x 42 mm). Length 17" (43 cm). Impressed with a 9K Mark on back.
