Edwardian mahogany inlaid bureau by JAS Shoolbred and Co.
Of particularly small proportions this beautiful Edwardian mahogany bureau by JAS Sholbred and Co, is profusely inlaid with wonderful art nouveau style decoration in the form of stylised tulips in ambers and soft greens with satinwood banding and boxwood stringing. The whole is lined in oak and of lovely quality. The solid brass drop handles are all original and the whole is raised on bracket feet. The fall opens to reveal a lovely fitted interior of pigeaon holes and 2 drawers entirely constructed out of oak.
A beautiful little Edwardian bureau with wonderful detailing by a highly regarded manufacturer with the addition of a steel engraved presentation plate dated 1904.
