Fabulous sterling silver portrait miniature pendant set with sparkling clear and bright paste stones. This lady is wearing attire from the 16th or 17th century and a large gold coloured religious cross adorns her neck. Her eyes are a beautiful blue and she has retained her colour well with no fading. All she needs is a chain to make a fabulous necklace. A beautiful, solid, well made and very old piece of jewellery dating to the late 1700s or early 1800s.
There does appear to be a compartment at the back of this but we could not remove it so do not know what, if anything, lies beyond it.
Condition: Very Good
Dimensions: The pendant measures approximately 1 1/2" in length and 9/10" wide
