A very fine set, consisting of a jug form decanter with a multi facet cut gilded stopper and loop handle, plus six funnel shape glasses on eight sided stems and panel cut, wavy edge conical bases, the under-bases finished with cut radial stars. The decanter and glasses are cut to clear and decorated with gilt highlighted cobalt cabochons; the decanter has further cobalt patterns under the spout and around the handle, the latter is also enhanced with gilt dots. All pieces are embellished with alternating gilt leaf and wriggle work panels, as well as gilt banding. Circa 1890, possibly by Moser Karlsbad.
Condition: Very Good
Dimensions: Decanter 9in/22.8cm high, circa 5½in/14cm wide, glasses 4in/10.2cm high.
