This is a good quality cut lead crystal jelly glass, dating to between 1830 and 1840.
The bowl is trumpet shaped and cut with a series of eight vertical panels, with curved upper and lower margins. The stem is double capstan in form and sits on a plain flat foot, which has a central polished out pontil.
The glass has a height of approximately 10.3cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 6.2cm and at foot of about 5.3cm.
It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks, although there are some areas of faint opaque staining to the rim. This is reflected in the price.
