This is a pair of high quality elegant mid to late Victorian lead crystal wine glasses.
The bowls are trumpet shaped with six cut petal shaped panels, extending down to the base of the bowl. Below this the stem is hollow blown and ‘hourglass’ shaped. It is connected to the plain foot by means of a discoid knop. Each glass has a slightly recessed centre, where the pontil has been polished out.
As these glasses are handmade there may be minor differences in the dimensions.
Each glass has a height of about 13.9cm, with a diameter at the rim of about 6.4cm and at the foot of about 6.7cm.
They are in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
