A vintage GEC "magnet" electric travel iron made by GEC this is a possible GEC first and model number is H5844 and ranges 100/25 & 200/250 volts 220 watts, slab-sided design with nikel plated cast iron sole and flat cowl, and weighs 2.5lbs and cost 15 shillings in 1919. It also has original testing and guarantee ticket..And comes in original box which could do with some restoration. I have not tested this item because I am afraid to as I don't understand the methods.
