This interesting collection consists of DAILY SKETCH newspaper dated 29th January 1936, showing the funeral of GEORGE V, the internment in St George's Chapel when the new but uncrowned king EDWARD steps forward to throw earth on the coffin. On the back of the paper is a picture of the four royal princes marching behind the coffin. OUR ROYAL CHILDREN snap shot album showing the new heir presumptive, Prncess Elizabeth with her sister Margaret-Rose. NEWS REVIEW BOOK NO.1 "The Woman I Love", Edward and Wallis, soon after their marriage. THE ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS July 1972 with a full colour portrait of the Duke "The King Who Gave up his Throne." This gives a summary of the events leading to the abdication and a record of the life of the Duke in the following years, through the war until 1972 after 36 years of marriage.Separatey available is London Illustrated News, full colour ceremonial edition of the crowning of GEORGE V and The Windsor Jewels, a fully colour description of the magnificient jewel collection amassed by the Duchess.
