A nice Victorian partner inkwell, with cut glass inkwell set in wood frame, these inkwells were used in Victorian offices where two clerks were facing each other across a desk, the ink top opened at both sides so as could be used by two people at the same time, it has two dip pen holders, very rare item to come across. Measures 18 1/2cm x 19 1/2cm, and in excellent all round condition, no chips or cracks to the inkwell.
