An unusual egg shape metal scent bottle, with a suspensory chain and ring, onion dome stopper, pierce pattern shoulder cover, and banded sides. The front and back are decorated with many different Egyptian hieroglyphic motifs in light relief. Circa 1880, possibly a little earlier.
