A scarce and most attractive porcelain scent bottle, realistically modelled as a hazelnut. The bottle has a cork lined, sterling silver top and screw collar. Top marked with an unusual silver mark "SILR" and "CS FS" for Saunders and Shepherd, base of the nut with registry number 89920 issued in 1887 to James Macintyre & Co Ltd, Washington China Works, Burslem.
Condition: Good
Dimensions: A little over 1½in/3.8cm high.
