A splendid silver scent bottle, realistically modelled as a six string mandolin, with a silver peg stopper at the top. The bottle is decorated to the front with scrollwork, flower sprays and ribbon edging, and to the back with two playing cherubs, as well as drapes, further scrollwork and flowers. Circa 1880-90, Dutch, part of a UK, probably import, hallmark under the bridge.
Condition: Good
Dimensions: 4¾in/12.1cm long, excluding peg.
