A Doulton Burslem plate in the "Madras" pattern but done in the more unusual black and white. Made around 1892 this plate is in immaculate condition. Made with typical Doulton excellence the central picture is beautifully done and the rim border of buildings and flowers is lovely. Both the outside edge and inner rim edge are finished in a lattice and flower band. Done in black and white this plate is stunning and displays wonderfully.
