An excellent Mintons Aesops Fables transfer print tile in maroon on white, featuring the story of "The Tortoise and the Eagle". Circa 1880, thought to have been designed by C. O. Murray, but probably Moyr Smith. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch.
Condition: Good
Dimensions: Height and width 15.2cm/6in.
