A still life acrylic on canvas painting by Russian artist Mara Yaskevich. The painting measures 16 x 12 inches, 40 x 30 cms.
Mara Yatskevich studied art as a teenager in Leningrad, now St Petersburg, but gave it up to become a doctor and psychotherapist. She studied under Piotr Nazarov whose painting is based on the relationship of warm and cold tones, and light and shadow contrasts. She has in later years returned to her love of painting and now produces works as a hobby. She specialises in acrylic and oil and is fond of painting wonderful flowers and still life.
She now lives in Spain and produces a limited number of beautiful paintings each year.

Dimensions: The painting measures 16 x 12 inches, 40 x 30 cms.
