CUT GLASS HAIR TIDY, STERLING SILVER TOP |

A crystal dressing table hair tidy with a foliate scrollwork embossed silver pull-off top, the latter with vacant cartouche; the body is cut with hobnails and diamonds between parallel grooves, the base is embellished with an eight point star. Original hallmark now very heavily rubbed and illegible, age circa 1910. A useful item for hair pins, cotton buds, make up brushes etc. Dimensions based on centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch.
