This sturdy looking salver has a completely plain centre and a practical raised, heavily scalloped border. Standing on 4 solid, scrolled feet it is not unattractive but looks as though it is built for action rather than decoration. Hallmarked Sheffield it was made at the Matilda Street Works in Birmingham by Harry Atkin of Atkin Brothers.
