Here we have a solid silver salt dish and blue liner by the relatively rare Birmingham firm 'Hands & Co' (registered Feb 1901). It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1900/1901 - late Victorian or Early Edwardian, and, personally, I feel the style reflects the date. It is in Excellent condition. It stands evenly on four claw feet and has only the most tiny of scratches in one place, unobservable except at close range. Otherwise it is in excellent clean and polished condition - and it is over 109 years old. A simple banded design which would look excellent in day-to-day table use.

Dimensions: Approximately 9cm at the widest, 5cm in breadth and about 4cm in height.
