This is a magnificent Victorian large dress or engagement ring in yellow gold set with a deep purple amethyst of high colour intensity surrounded by bright white diamonds. A fabulous, rich velvet Amethyst gemstone, that has a rich hue, is surrounded by sparkling old diamonds that are VS1 - G in colour with superb brilliance and fire from within each facet. This is a beautiful ring with tremendous sparkle with the Amethyst and Diamonds set in platinum and complementing each other perfectly. The shank is 18ct yellow gold and beautifully decorated down the shoulders. Recommendation insure this piece for over £3000. Ring size: P 1/2 (US 8) approx. Measures just under 1/2in across and just over 1/2in down. (12mm Width x 15mm Length).
