Art Nouveau Silver Locket with Fancy Long Guard Chain |

This is a lovely French Art Nouveau Locket and Long Guard Chain with Retainer.
The locket has engraved misletoe detail with a plain back and hinged fastening. Inside there are inner silver rings to retain photographs, no glass.
The fancy long guard chain measuring 44ins has alternating four-leaf clovers and misletoe sprays and compliments the locket beautifully. There is a clover and mistletoe sprung retainer although not in place on the chain.
The locket is marked on the dog clip, both ends of the chain and there are three marks on the loop of the locket. An original and rare Art Nouveau piece in complete and very good condition.
An exquisite locket and chain of the period.
Condition: Very Good
Dimensions: Locket measures 1 ins (25mm) not including the bail. Chain length 44 ins (112cm).
