A rare Antique Arts and Crafts silver necklace mounted with three large citrine stones and citrine dropper. This is a beautiful piece in an unusual oval marrow-like shape crafted in silver, with incised overlapping leaves and tendrils. There are three faceted cognac citrines of varying shapes. A rounded oval-cut on the left, heart shape on the right and a narrower oval-cut in the lower centre. A textured flower-shaped drop is suspended beneath and mounted with a circular-cut citrine. The back shows the wonderful detail and craftsmanship that has gone into the making of this piece. Fixed rings at the top of the necklace attach the silver chain. Stamped SILVER, made by Bernard Instone, whose jewellery was also retailed by Liberty and Co at the time. British, Circa 1930. Measuring: Pendant 2" Wide x 1 1/4" High.
(50 x 30 mm). Pendant Height incl Drop 2" (50 mm). Chain 18" (46cm). An exquisite necklace with no chips to the stones in excellent condition.
