A fine Austro-Hungarian silver, enamel and pink/purple stones necklace, from the late 19th century. The necklace is beautifully constructed in solid silver with exquisite ornate plaques. There are pink amethyst paste stones claw set into white enamel surrounding the stones, alternating with silver bauble plaques. The necklace is fully articulated and fluid with silver bauble droplets suspended from the little plaques and a longer length centre droplet. Length 17" (43.5cm) approx. Max drop 4 cm. Genuine antique Victorian era necklace. Stamped SILVER on clasp. Very good condition, no damage or repairs. A beautiful necklace, it looks fabulous on and transforms an outfit.
