An Edwardian Peridot and Seed Pearl 9ct Gold Pendant by Murrle Bennett with an antique 18ct gold chain. The large circular openwork pendant has a central 5mm round facet cut peridot in a millegrain collet setting. Within the circle setting are crossover parallel lines set with 24 seed pearls, and an inner circle of seed pearls all millegrain set. The large bale is also set with 3 graduating seed pearls. The substantial Edwardian 18ct gold chain is also of outstanding quality with lovely smooth belcher links and what was probably the original chain with the pendant. Marked with well-known Murrle Bennett makers mark MB&CO, jewellery makers (1896-1914). Stamped 9Ct. An outstanding Edwardian piece, which is all original, all stones intact and no damage or repairs, in excellent antique condition. Measuring: Pendant Width 1 1/16" Length incl Bale 1 1/2" (28 x 38 mm). Chain 18" (46 cm). Marked 18ct Gold.
