A beautiful Egyptian Revival necklace decorated with vibrant shades of green and turquoise blue guilloche enamel. This is a beautiful piece, a delicate and fine example of Charles Horner of Halifax's antique jewellery in the shape of a winged scarab. The circular spacer in bright mottled green and suspended below is the winged scarab with a centre of iridescent turquoise blue and bright green panels around the edge. A superb necklace, also sold at the Liberty London store at the time. Hallmarked Sterling Silver Chester 1909 and initials C.H. for Charles Horner. A highly collectible antique necklace in excellent condition with no damage or repairs. Chain 16 1/2 ins (42cm) long to Spacer. Spacer to pendant 1 in. Pendant 1 1/16 x 1/2 in (28 x 14 mm).
