A "W & R JACOB" CHINESE STYLE BISCUIT TIN. Depicting Chinese scenes of Sampans, Pagodas, Mountains and Cranes. The colours are very delicate like a Watercolour Painting. The background is a very pale green .The lid shows a lake with a Mountain in the background , two Sampans and a pair of Cranes under trees. The front and rear of the tin is again Sampans this time moored by a Pagoda with Mountains at the rear.To the left side is a ornamental arch and a smaller Pagoda . The sides have Bridge views. Underneath is W & R JACOBS CO (L.POOL ) BISCUIT MANUFACTURES LIVERPOOL ENGLAND.
