DIPOMACY was developed in the 60s in the USA as the ultimate board game from which all elements of chance have been removed. Each player must be able to lie, bluff, persuade, use tactical and strategic skills, harangue and cajole. Such has been the success of this formula that the game is established as a classic around the world. Championship events are held. Over the years rules and conventions have been established and all of these are explained within the game instructions. The object of the game is to role play one of the major powers in Europe at the turn of the century. Armies and Naval forces are at your disposal and each player seeks to establish supremacy over the continent. Success or failure depends on the skills mentioned before. It is a challenging and totally absorbing game. This version is very similar to the original in graphic design.
