Ever popular TOTOPOLY the Waddington game for all the family. There have been many versions, this one is marked copyright 1949, but we are not able to be more exact as to the date. The idea of the game is that racehorses are leased by players and trained by them for the race. Players have the opportunity of leasing horses at first option, through a deal and later the chance to lease additional ones through an auction sale. In the same way players will acquire temporary ownership of stables, veterinary practices or forage merchants, etc. After these preliminaries the training commences, advantage cards will give some horses a better chance than others, there will be backing of horses on the Tote but as in real racing an outsider can always give the players a big surprise. An exciting family game.
