This glamorous MOP Princess Necklace sits beautifully, creating a fabulous look and an outstanding piece from the 1950’s era. A wearable and vintage necklace that is undeniably the epitome of sophistication. The oblong MOP panels are prong set into rhodium-plated metalwork and run all along the length. The panels have an iridescence and mystical glow with all the different shades you would expect and they sparkle from every angle. The panels are joined by flexible links to three clear brilliant rhinestones giving movement and fluidity. The overall length is 18 ins, which includes a short extension comprising groups of three clear rhinestones linked via chain links. The stones are starting to show their age, and all intact apart from one which is darker and possibly a replacement; this does nothing to deter from its attraction. The clasp is a fishhook type and fastens at several stations to change the length. A stunning example of vintage cocktail and party jewellery to treasure.
