A set of 20 postcards showing ARRAS FRANCE from all aspects as it was before the first world war. Tissue-guarded, titling in French and English, includes main railway station with vehicles, Place Victor Hugo on Market Day, The Theatre with street scene activity, inside of important civic buildings, the museum, and various street scenes. Presumably many of these buildings would have been destroyed later in the 1914-18 war.
